Rene Marie Russo, an American actor and film maker who was once a supermodel is also a director of films. Known for her elegant beauty her longevity in the highly intense film industry is a reflection of her skills and talent as a performer. In the 70s the model began her career and quickly became one of the leading figures in this industry. In her second decade of study, she was studying theatre and acting before appearing on the stage on stage in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Russo first appeared on screen on ABCs Sable drama in 1987. She portrayed Eden Kendell. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest two years later on Major League, her debut movie. She was initially doubtful about her acting abilities but the critics became convinced by her consistent performances. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is a successful athlete. She began her career as an amateur fighter participating in regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her accomplishments both in and out from the Octagon have turned her into famous since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas's family is Lithuanian and she was born on June 29th in 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. Invicta Fighting Championships gave her the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age the age of 18, after she knocked down two opponents. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at age 22 she signed her to fight as a strawweight for UFC. The career of Rose has been full of extremes, as well as lows, yet she is always in a position to emerge from her fights with a win. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight via technical knockout in just 3 minutes of the first round. This was the first ever women to compete in a title fight with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas had a number of wins following this fight and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
